We are looking for a Healthcare Sales Specialist, with the primary focus to establish networks with long-term care facilities and hospices and to identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a sales pipeline and strategic relationships, as well as identifying key new partnerships within the California marketplace.

 

Healthcare Sales Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the Healthcare Sales Specialist will be accountable for owning and achieving deployment targets in SoCal.
  • Analyzing and expanding business operations toward sustained growth.
  • Monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability.
  • Evaluating and improving sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
  • Identifying and developing new lines of business based on consumer behavior.
  • Performing competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.
  • Developing client relationships and strengthening industry partnerships.
  • Identifying new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities.
  • Negotiating and closing business deals that promote sustained revenue.
  • Liaising with Sales, Marketing, and Management to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue.
  • Assessing and advising on potential joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Developing and pitching ideas for potential investors

 

Healthcare Sales Specialist Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Development or Marketing, preferred.
  • Previous experience in Long-Term Care Facilities (Hospice, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, RCFEs), preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist, preferred.
  • Minimum of at least 3 years of business development experience with increasing scope and responsibility in the healthcare industry, preferably with a disruptive company in a complicated healthcare market.
  • Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behavior.
  • Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships.
  • Competency in negotiating and closing business deals.
  • Ability to advise on possible joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
