Per Diem Pharmacist at Curenta

We are currently looking for a Per Diem Pharmacist who will play a key role in providing pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding the effective usage of medications, and awareness of drug interactions. Per Diem Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures. 

Per Diem Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Cover designated after-hour calls. Including fulfillment of any after-hour orders
• Verify cycle medications
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management. Reviews interpret and accurately dispenses prescribed medications when necessitated by workload.
• Off-site (not in pharmacy) functions, such as vaccinations, brown bag reconciliations
• MTM activities

 Per Diem Pharmacist Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge and/or ability to use pharmacy information systems.
• At least one year of experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
• Licensure requirements: Must have valid, open, and active California Pharmacist license.
• Knowledge and ability to use automated and conventional pharmacy equipment.
• Schedule: Varies – Per Diem.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
