Pharmacist at Curenta

Curenta is a digital healthcare startup that is smoothing long-term care operations, especially medication management, and consultations. We are an ultra-growth startup, looking for talents who have LTC experience and are go-getters, self-driven, and comfortable with multi-tasking while enjoying the vibes of doubling the business every month.

We are currently looking for a Pharmacist who will play a key role in providing pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding the effective usage of medications, and awareness of drug interactions. The pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the proper dispensing, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures.

Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Cover busy/high-volume times of the month.
• Verify cycle medications.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including but not limited to medication verification, management, and drug therapy reviews. Sterile IV compounding knowledge is a plus.
• Reviews interpret and accurately dispenses prescribed medications when necessitated by workload.
• Off-site (not in pharmacy) functions, such as vaccinations, brown bag reconciliations, and facility cycle checks.
• MTM activities

Pharmacist Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Knowledge and/or ability to use pharmacy information systems.
• At least one year of experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
• Licensure requirements: Must have valid, open, and active California Pharmacist license.
• Knowledge and ability to use automated and conventional pharmacy equipment.
