We are looking for a Pharmacy Clerk who plays an important role as the point of contact between our patients and Curenta’s team. This role requires the accurate gathering of data regarding the health history and other pertinent personal information needed during taking patients’ orders. We are looking for someone who will be Curenta’s representative for its patients. The ideal candidate should be organized, multitasking with strong communication skills.

 

Pharmacy Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Gathers all necessary information about referral, patient demographics, contact person, physician, diagnosis, discharge time and place, item(s) requested
  • Enters data on each order (new or otherwise) in the system accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Performs any other duties that may be requested by supervisor or management
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Communicate clearly with patients, healthcare team, facilities, and administrators
  • Act as liaison between the patient, Curenta’s pharmacists, and pharmacy technician team
  • Ensure that all of the needs of patients are met timely and accurately
  • Run insurance verification and eligibility determination via phone or web portals. Coordinate medical services for the patient

 

Pharmacy Clerk Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service 
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships. 
  • Ability to seek out resources independently and work collaboratively and prioritize work in an organized manner.
  • Multitasking 
  • Communicate clearly with patients
  • Excellent Customer Service skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
