In this role, you will assist pharmacists with providing medication and healthcare products to customers. You will also conduct stock management, inventory control, and customer service activities. Pharmacy Technician - Filler Responsibilities:
- Fill medications according to prescriptions from doctors, hospices, and nursing homes.
- Measure dosages and count out medication amounts accurately to fill prescriptions
- Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor inventory
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards.
- Undertake a few administrative tasks as needed like entering invoices into the pharmacy system.
Pharmacy Technician - Filler Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of work experience as a pharmacy technician in long-term care, is preferred
- Experience with a Filling role is a plus
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Reliable with a keen eye for detail
- Pharmacy Technician License is required
- Experience with Parata auto-filling Machines is a plus.
